Mercer Island Country Club is seeking energetic and
skilled applicants for the positions of Swim Team Head Coach for the
2009 Midlakes Swim League season.
The club consists of over 800 families and operates an eight-lane,
25-yard, year round outdoor pool. The club also offers swim lessons, a
water polo team, dive team, fitness facility, tennis lesson and tennis
teams.
Major Job
responsibilities include:
Coordinating and
participate in all practices.
Implement water
and dry land training.
Have strong
knowledge of stroke technique
Lead and attend all swim meets.
Assist with team administration and data.
Motivate swimmers

Mercer Island
Country Club swim team is geared towards recreational swimmers current
enrollment of 175+ swimmers, ranging in ability from beginners to
qualifiers. Swim team is geared towards recreational swimmers.
Ideal candidate would have past coaching experience. Applicants need to
have knowledge of USS Swimming rules competitive strokes and drills; ARC
Lifesaving or Coaches Safety Training, First Aid and CPR are required.
