Head Coach:
Under the direction of the Plateau Club Recreation Manager & Assistant
the head coach will promote, organize, schedule, train and create
line-ups for the swim team. The head coach will mentor and lead by
example for the three assistant coaches to further their capacity as
swim coaches
1.
Conducts weekly coaching staff meetings with the agenda to be submitted
to the recreation manager no less than 24hrs prior for review
2.
Communicate all team supply needs in writing after initial season
inventory; any requests once the season has started must be in writing
with a cost and purpose
3.
Any purchases that the swim team is approved to make on their own must
be done by the head coach and submitted no more than 3-5 business days
from the date of purchase
4.
Plans, coordinates and conducts all scheduled practices
5.
Attends all Midlakes schedule meetings prior to the season
6.
Stay up to date on all current
7.
Attend the Midlakes Coaching Certification Clinic
8.
Evaluates the season at the conclusion and will meet with the recreation
manager no more than one week after to go over recommendations and
assess overall management of the program
9.
Must be at least 21 yrs of age
10.
Must have at least one year swim coaching experience
