Additional Training Session Added
A third session for Midlakes officials has been added to the
schedule. Thursday June 3rd from 6-9pm at the Mercerwood
Shore Club (clubhouse room) 4150 East Mercer Way, Mercer Island,
WA. This is for all officials who are not able to attend any of the May
sessions. And as a reminder, we encourage all officials to attend every
year if nothing else as a refresher and to say hello to your fellow
officials.
USA Swimming Officials Training
If you have thought about becoming a certified official with USA
Swimming, here is your chance. A Stroke & Turn officials clinic will be
held Sunday, April 18 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm at The
Pro Club, 4455 148th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98007. The instructor will be
Dave
Coddington. Please let Dave know
that you will be attending so he will have enough materials for each
attendee.
School District Swimming Update
Thanks for all of the continued support of swimming in the area. It
appears that headway is being made in Renton with the Lindberg pool but
we still need additional reinforcement in Bellevue. Please join us and
